Strata Vase by Loomos

The Strata Vase captures the quiet movement of color and form as they flow together like layers of earth shaped by time. Printed in two colors, each vase reveals a natural rhythm where every line becomes a visible trace of motion and every fade turns into a soft transition between tones.

Developed through Loomos’ research at HGK FHNW as part of the 3D-Druck Unikate project, the Strata Vase explores how 3D printing can express time, flow, and material instead of hiding the process. The dual color 3D printed design transforms digital code into a tactile, living texture — a meeting of technology and craft.

With Strata, Loomos moves from woven light into solid form, continuing its exploration of digital craft, material research, and the beauty of transformation. Each vase stands as a sculptural expression of motion, created with precision and care in every layer.
